im glad she's taking a break, she deserves the break to let her body recover from such a great run in the AO. i know its too early to say, but i wonder if she can sustain most of the points she's gained this year at next year's AO

Just read on her site that she's going home to Moscow to rest, good choice we don't want her to risk more injuries etc this early in the year.

Great AO overall!! Rankings will improve a lot on Monday

Happy to see her pull out of Pattaya if she has worries about the injury. She played a lot of matches..(way more that we & Maria ever expected I'm sure!!) so its a good decision.

Didn't disgrace themselves at all. Maria's rankings will look a good deal healthier next week which should assuage the doubters (not that they matter anyway).
