Aloysius I think Paola hit something like 32 winners compared to Nicole's 7, but lost the match by making way too many unforced errors.

Evie lost to a very good opponent. Denisa is displaying some good form after her return from illness last year.

Unfortunately, Sam wasn't able to push Daniela past the first set. The score was 6-4 6-2 in favour of Dani.

A great run from all three girls. Congratulations to Nicole on reaching her first Grand Slam round of 16. Best of luck against Venus Williams!

Rachel Unfortunately Evie won't be joining Pratty in the 4th round, but a big Congrats to Evie on her Aussie Open successes this year regardless

TS So do I, she is one of my favorite players too. She hit great winners, but hit too many errors. Im sure she'll have a great year this year!

MAURO congrats to the aussies
i think Paola is better than Nicole but she was freak today
if you watched the match, Paola played the best winners but she made a lot of mistakes
anyway good luck to Nicole with Venus but i love Paola and think she is a great player

TS MAURO...I do no how good Paola is, but unfortunately she didnt play her best today and was beaten by the better player on the day.

Have a good feeling about Evie, and hopefully Sam can give in a good effort.

I have no expectations

Vicky88 Well we were right when we said that we thought Nicole could win. Let's hope that the other two can follow her into the next round.

Gowza dominikovic has a chance to reach the quarters while sotsur and pratt come up against seeds. pratt can win but i don't expect it and i don't think stosur can win. if her serve is on then she can take the match to tiebreaks but i don't think her groundies are good enough yet to match hantuchova and it is hard to get into the net against hantuchova.

Rachel I agree with you assessment on it all Vicky88, and your absolutely right No1Kim, they've all done fantastically

Lisbeth I agree that Pratt is most likely to get through. Whatever happens, haven't they done well? I hope it will be a bit of a confidence boost for Aussie women's tennis.

Your expectations for the Aussie girls

How do you think the remaining 3 are going to fare in the 3rd round.

I think Pratt can beat Suarez. No disrespect intended towards Suarez, but I don't think she is the most difficult seed remaining.

Stosur can beat Hantuchova. Not sure that she will. I think the fate of this match rests wtih the way Hantuchova plays.

Dominikovic vs Chadlakova. Another winnable match, though I do consider Evie to be the underdog.

Of the 3 I think Pratt is the most likely to triumph. Would love to see them all win of course.
