Re: Ads in the middle of the page

Now we have gay ads at the top of the page.

Get rid of them.

Yeah and we all need a "Christian dating partner"....

Still, at least they're probably all up-to-date ads....unlike poor old 'Spider-man 2 screensaver'..

I don't think so, I think this is a bug the technicians are working to fix.

I think its only supposed to direct you to the register page is you are not logged in

Re: Ads in the middle of the page

I don't even have a link that says about removing them on the ad?

Or maybe I'm just blind, which is probably likely...

It appears to be intentionally designed, and they are only just fixing a few bugs with them now.

Re: Ads in the middle of the page

ok scratch that. We are looking at it. If you are not logged in and click remove advertisement, it brings you to the correct place.

You logged in? You get redirected to the wrong site. It will be fixed shortly.

Re: Ads in the middle of the page

ya know what it was doing that to me too. I reported it and it was doing it to me this morning. Redirect brought me to BBF sign up.

I cleared cash and it's now correct for me.

Re: Ads in the middle of the page

They are annoying. We shouldn't have to see them if we are paying members.

Re: Ads in the middle of the page

So basically the ad is just a cheap attempt to get people to join the basketball forum? Does anyone think that was the intention all along? That the "Remove Advertisements" link never existed?

Yes, it is better now, in a box that allows the continuity of the forum to be complete. If we have to have those NEW ads, in addition to all the others, this is better than just sitting there in no man's land below the first post.

The quality of everything is decreasing, squeezing more money out of everything these days. Can't fight it.
