Exclamation Discussing the 2015 season

It's time to discuss the adjustments for the 2015 Tennis Poker season.

First of all, please take a look at the poll about the possible change of the joker rule:
https://www.tennisforum.com/showthread.php?t=917937

Here's a short introduction to the 2015 events.

SINGLES
12 players, 13 from the 3rd leg, no qualies, bye for the top 4, from the 3rd leg top 3.

DOUBLES
6 pairs, no qualies, first round bye for the top 2. As usual, new pairs will receive one half of the points earned by each player with last year’s partner.

DOPPIO GIALLO
In the first 6 legs, you will play once with all the other 11 players. The 7th leg semifinals will be played by the 2 pairs with the best scores and the 4 posters with the best win-loss ratio.

FED CUP
6 teams, World Group II cancelled. The event structure will remain the same, but the Round Robin will decide only the 2 teams directly through to the semifinals.

WORLDS
11 singles players, 4 pairs and 6 national teams coming back from the 2014 season: they are all in.

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
There will be a Round Robin stage, possibly 3 groups of 4, to decide the main draw entry list.

YEC-ELITE TROPHY
Top 4 will qualify for the YEC. Following the WTA tour rules, no more tournament of chmapions: players ranked #5-#8, that is the highest-ranked players not competing in the YEC, will qualify for the Zhuhai event.

I'm ready to hear your suggestions.

Thank you!

It all looks good to me, Doc.

As for the joker change - I like the no joker rule.

Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about.
Be kind.
Always.

Re: Discussing the 2015 season

It looks good to me as well.

I definitely agree with the no joker rule too. It became too big an advantage - there was hardly a leg when the joker holder did not make the final.

Thanks for all your work, Doc. Although I hardly follow tennis anymore, I still very much enjoy tennis poker!
