Re: Tennis Poker Hall of Fame: all the winners!

4th leg update.

Oizo wins the second singles title and he is the 9th active player to become a multiple singles winner.
That means everyone but the 6 posters who have joined in this season or the last one.

It's the first doubles title together for -Ph51- & Oizo.
Phil has won 7 times with 4 different teammates, while Oizo becomes the 15th poster to have won with more than one partner: third title after the 2 with Zamboni.

And congrats to -Ph51- & ArturJFC, 4th leg Doppio Giallo winners!
It's the second title for Phil in 4 legs, and the first for ArturJFC at the very first attempt.

Congrats everyone!

Re: Tennis Poker Hall of Fame: all the winners!

5th leg update.

Rocketta wins her second singles title in this season and the fifth in her career, entering the all-time top 4; among the active players only Geewhiz has done better than that.

Second consecutive doubles title for Phil, 8th career title, and Oizo, 4th.

It's the first Doppio Giallo title for Rocketta & Ceze, medal winners with the season format but never beyond the silver.

Congrats everyone!

Re: Tennis Poker Hall of Fame: all the winners!

6th leg update.

Just when you thought she was having a bad season, Geewhiz bounces back to beat the top 2 singles players and gets her 14th title, all-time record, twice the wins by anybody else.
It's also worth mentioning Geewhiz has won at least once in all the last 7 season, since 2010 and counting.
Well done to Rocketta, consolidating the #1 spot with a good run to the final.

Exactly one year after the last title, Geewhiz & Kuilli extend their all-time record with the 21st doubles win.
It's the 4th final out of 6 events played for Salmon pants & Vaedda, back to the Race top spot and with a new PB at #3, just ahead of the leg winners.

It had to arrive sooner or later, it comes right away at the second event: Vaedda is the first poster to win a Doppio Giallo title alone with the new “twin pair” rule.
And does it with style, scoring twice the points by all the other pairs.
It's already Vaedda's second title, after the 2nd leg win with Tetetubby.

Congrats everyone!

Re: Tennis Poker Hall of Fame: all the winners!

7th leg update.

Ceze wins the 4th singles title: only 4 posters have done better than that all-time.

First title for the new pair Princess Fiona & ArturJFC; it's the 9th doubles win for Fiona, 5th all-time, the very first for ArturJFC.

The Crow and Ceze win their second DG title in this season, the first together.

Congrats everyone!
The Crow likes this.

Re: Tennis Poker Hall of Fame: all the winners!

8th leg update.

The Crow wins his 6th singles title, 3rd all-time behind retired Tetetubby and Geewhiz.

It’s the 5th doubles title for Rocketta & The Crow together: he won 15 titles with 3 different partners, 5 each, while she got her 10th win.

For Phil the DG season ends as it started: with a title, the third, and the #1 spot, for the 6th leg; 2 all-time records.

Congrats everyone!

Re: Tennis Poker Hall of Fame: all the winners!

2016 Fed Cup update.

Belgium is the first country to win the Fed Cup title for 4 times and consolidates its all-time record with a 10th podium.

Runner-up European Union is 4th all-time, the best among the nations with one title, and New Hogwarts is up to #9, the best among the countries with at least a podium but not a title.

Congrats everyone!

Re: Tennis Poker Hall of Fame: all the winners!

2016 Olympic Games update.

This year's medal winners have been added, together with the all-time list by poster and country.

Rocketta has achieved any kind of all-time record.
Only poster to have won:
a total of 7 Olympic medals
more than one individual medal
3 gold medals in the team events
gold in both the individual and team events

A curiosity: -Ph51- is the only one to have reached the podium with 2 different countries.

Congrats everyone!

Re: Tennis Poker Hall of Fame: all the winners!

2016 WTA Finals update.

The first ever YEC podium for Rocketta in singles gives her the gold medal right away, while it's the first win together with The Crow, but they had both got the title with a previous partner before.

Curiously enough, Phil has won 6 YEC medals, and they are all silvers: 2 in singles and 4 in doubles, with 4 different partners.

First podium for bronze medal winner Ceze as well.

Congrats everyone!

Re: Tennis Poker Hall of Fame: all the winners!

2016 Elite Trophy update.

The Crow's second title makes him the all-time leader in this category: only Arn has been able to win more than once.

First individual podium for Oizo, while Kuilli gets her third medal in signles and her third gold with Geewhiz in doubles.

Well done to Salmon pants & Vaedda, who were able to qualify in their first Tennis Poker season.

Congrats everyone!
