Lightbulb 2017 Pentathlon - 2nd leg update: Matt wins, Geewhiz out, Alexander19 & USA lead

The 2017 Tennis Poker Pentathlon!

The format used for the 2016 Olympics becomes a new regular game for the 2017 season.

It is a combined event, where your 5 scores in each leg will be considered: singles combination score, singles overall, doubles, doppio giallo and national team. Each score will be compared to the leg best performance in that discipline to calculate a percentage score. If you have the best score you get 100 points, if you have less you will score in proportion to your result. For example, with a best score of 120, if you have 40, you will get 40 / 120 * 100 = 33 points. The sum of your 5 scores in the 5 different categories will be your Pentathlon score for that leg. The maximum possible score in a leg is, of course, 500.

The 2017 Tennis Poker Pentathlon!

Example: Punkyís 2015 8th leg performance.

Singles scores: 42 for the combination, no round wins, so also 42 overall.
The best scores were by singles winner JankovicSavior, 224 & 574.
Punky scores 42 / 224 * 100 = 19
And 42 / 574 * 100 = 7

Doubles: 34 with GoOudinUSA, best score 229 by Princess Fiona & Tetetubby.
Punky scores 34 / 229 * 100 = 15

Doppio Giallo: 61 with Rocketta, best score by Princess Fiona & The Crow, 335.
Punky scores 61 / 335 * 100 = 18

National team: 37 by New Hogwarts, with EUís best score of 249.
Punky scores 37 / 249 * 100 = 15

Punkyís Pentathlon score for the 8th leg is 19 + 7 + 15 + 18 + 15 = 74 points.

The 2017 Tennis Poker Pentathlon!

The 12 posters playing all the 5 disciplines have been admitted to this game. There will be one elimination per leg from the 1st to the 8th leg: the last poster in each leg will be out. The 4 posters left in the 8th leg will be playing for the medals: the sum of all the scores throughout the 2017 season will decide the podium.

See you soon for the first leg results.

2nd leg season standings update!

First leg winner Alexander keeps the individual leading spot, and also together with Rocketta in the ranking by nation where top 3 didn't change: USA still leads ahead of European Union and The You Knows team, who might struggle to stay there after the loss of Geewhiz.

The attached table shows all the details and points for each poster and team.
