No change in the national ranking lead of course with Lindsay and venus still in the world top 10.
Jill is up 2 places and back in the world Top 50 after a very good run in Miami whereshe creates one of the biggest upset ousting world n2 Kim Klijters. Giving her confidence to play great tennis to beat n29 Klara Koukalova before loosing to Jie Zheng.
Good ranking evolution for Jamae too who is up 2 places in the national ranking and 8 in the world ranking and not fat away from her best (n73). She reached the 3rd round in Miami with a convincing victory over n28 Gisela Dulko before falling to Nadia Petrova.
Mashona Washington is back to the National Top 10 and 11 places up in the world ranking. 2 times in a row she made it to the 2nd round at Indian Wells (victory over n61 Maria Sanchez Lorenzo) and in Miami after qualifying.
One of the biggest slump of the months with Serena down 6 places in the national and 30 places in the world! Her main current motivation is not competing and she seems to prefer to show off on the premiere's event red carpet.
Vania and Bethanie doesn't move in the national ranking but keep improving: Vania already broke the world Top 100 and Bethanie is about to do it.
Marissa Irvin is the biggest slump of the months in the world ranking loosing 33 spots without playing (she lost her 2005 Miami points where she reached the 3rd round).
Angela is trying to come back with no real success right now loosing in the 1rst round of the qualies in Miami and Indian Wells. Maybe she should focusing on playing chalengers event like she did in Las Vegas last months.
Tiffany is the new entry of the month. She played a challenger in march reaching the quaterfinal loosing to n257 Kelly Liggan.
