Bless you m-fan for thinking of me! *waves at hablovah*
Seeing her with 2 slams and seeing her in person at Eastbourne and the NASDAQ, more than I'd ever hoped for this year!

And many thanks to linnie for getting me through the match today (really thought I was gonna have to be carted away to a rubber room)
*hablovah waves back*

good reps to come to you soon, when I have some to give

so happy for Momo and, for us, Momosapiens

19. In the period from January to April 2006 Dr. Skalny sent very detailed messages to Ms Sharapova [...]: “Mildronate 1-2 X 10, repeat in 2 wks (before training or competition)”; “1 hr before competition, 2 pills of Mildronate”; “During games of special importance, you can increase your Mildronate dose to 3-4 pills (1 hr before the match). However, it is necessary to consult me on all these matters (please call)”; “30 minutes prior to a training session: Mildronat – 1 Capsule. 30-45 minutes prior to a tournament Mildronat 2 capsules”.

Amazing, just amazing!! Here we are almost a week later and I'm still in a state of (very happy) shock!! It was always my ultimate dream to see Amélie win at Wimbledon, and I can't believe it happened, I saw her win with my own eyes! We were just two rows from the back, and I'm not usually someone who shouts out during a match, (we Brits are quite reserved! ), but I was shouting out 'Allez Amélie!!' on Saturday!! I videoed a very small amount of the match including match point, and it's so funny playing it back now because you should hear my scream when Amélie won!! Goodness knows what people sat nearby were thinking, (probably 'who's that nutter?!' )

Félicitations Amélie!! Bien joué!!

Amélie Mauresmo

2003 - Fed Cup Champion!!

2004 - WTA Ranked Number One!!

2005 - YEC Champion!!

2006 - Australian Open Grand Slam Champion!!

2006 Wimbledon Champion!!
and No.1 again!!

Thanks for sharing that Lapin, I'm so glad you were there to witness her triumph - it must have been so exciting seeing it live. It was always my dream too to see her win Wimbledon out of all the Grand Slams. I was roaring and shouting at the tv - the neighbours must have thought I was loop de loop! All our cheering over all the years of her being a nearly champion have really paid off this year - it's just fantastic!!!!

RIP Elena Baltacha, thank you for dedicating your life to a sport we all love. You'll be missed but never forgotten.
