No dancing with these tennis stars

They've both been invited, but don't expect to see tennis greats Chris Evert and Martina Navratilova on the popular TV show 'Dancing with the Stars.'
'Hell, no,' Navratilova said when asked Saturday during an appearance at the Family Circle Cup. 'Are you kidding me?'
Another former tennis star, Monica Seles, appeared on the show this season.
Evert said she and Martina have been invited 'every year' to put on their dancing shoes.
'I'm not a good dancer, period,' Evert said. 'So why would I want to do that?'
Navratilova objected to the required footwear.
'High heels? Hello,' she said. 'Can you see me in those high heels? No frigging way.'
Martina said she was impressed with Seles' performance, even though she was voted off the show early in the season.
'My hat is off to Monica that she put herself out there,' Martina said. 'And she got so much better. The first night she wasn't so good, but the second night, I thought she was brilliant. I was like, ‘Wow.'
But Martina said she is going to appear on a reality show called 'Beat the Star' in Germany.
'It's sort of an athletic and brainy competition with an athlete and a ‘normal person,' so to speak,' she said.
Rivalry? Not yet
Martina and Chris also were asked about the burgeoning rivalry between Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova, who met for the seventh time on Friday in the Family Circle Cup quarterfinals.
'How many times have they played each other?' Martina asked. 'Seven? Well, we have 80.'
Said Evert: 'It would be great if there could be a rivalry like we had. Could they do it? Yeah, they are still in their early 20s. They could rack up another two or three years, if they were No. 1 and No. 2. Doesn't work if you are No. 1 and No. 6, you know.'
Maria and Serena are ranked No. 4 and No. 9, respectively. Serena leads their series, 5-2.
