Unhappy Monica lost

Monica lost her third round match agains Foretz, but it wasn't Monica who played against Foretz today. She struggled with her serve, with everything. Sometime she played some great shots, but she was doing too many UEs and Foretz just played better.

But I'm not so sad as usual. I'm always very sad when Monica loses the match, but I want her to rest more and to be fresh for europen clay tournies.

She probably lost her chance to be in the top 4 seeds at French Open ... that's the bad thing about this loss

I would like to know what was wrong. It was just a bad day for her, or stomach virus, or what?

But Stephanie played really well.

She also ended her great 2002 statistic - reaching at least semis at all events she entered ...

Get well soon, Monica! I know something was wrong today with you

For Stephanie it was the biggest win of her career, but for Monica worse loss this season ...

Last time she lost match to player not ranked in top 100 was in 1999 at Wimby, when she lost to Lucic ...

Im soooooo sad right now !!!!!!!

Why did she lose???......definitley something was wrong with her!!!!......she didnt move well, and she did a lot of unforced errors......damn it!!!!!.......im so sorry for her......it seems to me, like she didnt feel comfortable out there today !!!!!

I hope she will get some rest now and she will play better next time !!!!!!!!

It also seems to me that she lost her timing at times, i guess she has to practice more on the clay court to get better......remember she doesnt play last year on clay, so i guess she needs some time to get her timing back.........but im confident she will get it back very soon, cuz she is a real champion

Good LUCK MONICAAAAA
