MODERATORS: URGENT. Advice on post reporting, please.

Is it possible to have some advice with regard to reporting any post which someone feels is unacceptable? I have looked through the various pages on the site but find them confusing. I would asume that the policy for BFTP is the same as General Messages, which from reading over the past few months would apparently accept four letter words including the "f" one - although you don't see this on the Blast.

There would appear to be two means of reporting, one by e-mailing a service report and one by clicking on the exclamation mark on the left-hand side of a post. What is the difference between these? It seems to me that using either of these methods never elicits a response so the sender does not know whether their report has been seen or has been noticed and disregarded. Obviously, what to one person "crosses the line", doesn't to another and the Moderators have the final say but surely the complainant should be notified one way or another?

Obviously, there is an onus on the complainant as well not to abuse whatever facility exists but I am confused as to what the system actually is?

you are another one of those insecure graf fans. why didnt you report when a graf fan was making nasty insinuations on what will happen to masha and those nasty awful comments against other players. these graf fans want to put down all the players except that graf. maybe all the other fans should just leave since this is becoming a graf board.

they can put down other players but when other fans fight back they report. its not fair.

It's a genuine question Beautiful Girl Be nice

ChrisI wish I could answer your question. I can only speak for the BFTP-and I hope by now it's clear I'm equally opposed to abuse from all quarters.

GM is of course harder to manage. I bet if you PMed Brian Stewert he would get back to you in good time. Unlike me he has authority outside the Blast, and the wonderful about Brian is he isn't identified with any one faction-you'll find no person more respected on the board.

Hope that helps.
