Thumbs up Let's look forward to 2005!

Guys i know that everyone is upset with Jenn's loss to Zvonareva
after all we waited for about 2 months and inevitably we had high expectations of her... we really wanted Jenn to make YEC but unfortunately things are not what we want it to be

but hey! she has had a decent 2004... making the semis of 2 GS and a quarterfinal experience + 2 Tier 1 finals.... not too bad at all... she suffered injuries and lets admit age is not on her side... yet she's still fighting! she's not going to admit defeat and announce retirement... remember what she said?? SHE'S GOING TO SHOW THEM!

Lets look forward to 2005 positively... she's still a force to reckon with... nobody would ever dare to underestimate her (Just look at her Lena D and Zvonareva... they really bring on their best when facing Jenn) ... Lets continue to show our support to her and continue to enjoy her game

Poppy has already bought firecrackers for Oz Open 2005
And now waiting for the draw-SW and Jen on the same side?
Now wouldn't that be too much a surprise!
Doesn't matter, Jen will get the big prize
Already wondering what outfits Jen will wear
And if she will have a different color hair
Whatever! Poppy knows she will rock our world
After all she is our diamond, our wondergirl!

Well, the first Oz she was ranked 12, so...I don't think she is gonna flinch at that. She knows what it's like to be out of the top 10 and win a slam.

a top 8 seed at the Aussie would be ideal, but a top 16 seed wouldn't be bad either if say Jenn drew someone like Myskina in the 4th round. i'm also really looking forward to what Jenn will do in the off season and do in the 2005 season! it just sucks we have to wait so long until we see Jenn playing again!!!

Well, if Jen does have a crappy draw and still manages to win it....then that is even more of an accomplishment. Out Jen knows how to fight and get the "W". I am happy with her performance for 2004. Despite all the injuries, she knew what needed to be done...and she did it. 2005 is going to be a great year Jen and I can't wait to support and cheer for her yet again!!!! Go Jen!!!!!

The draw's not going to be such a big deal. Is there really that much of a difference between the top 16 players? She could get just a tough a match from Nadia Petrova or Ai Sugiyama than she might from the players she will draw. Plus, every top player will be hoping they don't draw Jen.

She has the fewest matches won in top 20 during 2004, and she is in top 10!?
Interesting to see how weak the feild this year has been.

Jen played a lot fewer tournaments than every player in the top 20 except Serena. That's why she didn't win as many matches.

What are you doing? That is insulting to Jen. This is to be about the 2005 season coming up. Not about what her results were in 2004.

Besides for playing only like 12 tournaments, she did well enough to stay in the top 10...so it is not about how weak the field is...it is about how consistent Jen is and how she is the greatest tennis player ever in the history of the sport!!!!!

Jennifer will do very well this coming year. I won't predict when and where her triumphs will be, but I'm predicting at least two. She had a pretty good '04 even with everything she was dealing with, but '05 will be very good to her. She's trained hard, she's in shape and she's mentally in the 'zone'.
