congrats to andyT

Top-seeded Andy Roddick was beaten at his own game, getting outserved and outpaced by qualifier Max Mirnyi of Belarus 7-6 (2), 6-2 in just 65 minutes Thursday.

I think you're kinda over Max, but in a santoro-fan like obligatory way, I thought this worthy of a quick posting!

I dunno if he's over Max or not. He told me just the other day that he was taking lessons in Russian and was now subscribing to Pravda.

Hmmm, "passive aggressive".........!

Indeed HanaFanGA. I can now say, "yes" "no" and "harder", the only three words necessary in any language to get by. It is not by chance that Max has "performed" well in Paris. In the fine Evert tradition of keeping one's legs open and one's mouth closed, I shall say no more.

no, no, you misunderstood. i meant that we congratulate you for your moniker's successes, which is why i hyphenated the santorofan, and so i would applaud andyT's man too.

I was not PO'ed at your post regarding the QUEEN. i am quite sure of her exceptionally quality and standards in tennis and in life; i have no desire to match all of her conclusions. she & i couldnt be further apart as personalities. and i'm sure someone like my grandmother or close relative must've voted for the b-man (not that C.E. did), and i'm still gonna hug them for being more than the distractions of their surface manifestations.

Keep those wheels keep spinning...

Chrissie, the quinessential security-mom, why of course she voted for the W...not that there's anything wrong with that

PS: I never considered myself that obligatory

Well, a week chez moi did no harm at all to Max and Marat. They both left my Parisian garret reinvigorated, remotivated and raring to play. Carlos, I'm afraid, could not bear to leave the flat , so defaulted from the tournament and was nursed all week (in fact he was chained to the bed).
