Will Monica play less tournaments now???

Well, i'm not gonna talk about Monica's loss to Hingis. I'm not saying she's tired etc, but don't you think she should take more breaks between some tournaments, i mean don't play few weeks in a row. Just lets take a look on Capriati, Hingis, Williams ... They're playing less and may this is the key why are they winning. I mean Monica played a lot because she wanted to improve her ranking and she succeded, til Bank of the West she has no points to defend right? So now she should play less, i mean playing two weeks in a row, then take a break, then again play some tournies and again take a break.

I hope she will take some rest before playing French Open. She will probably play Italian Open, she's skipping tournaments in Germany. As Monica said, she wants to be healthy and fresh for clay court season, so i hope she will be.

Big cheers for our queen !!!

Forever No.1
Monica Seles
Thank you for great moments and inspiration!

I think so, and espeically to not play the Fed Cup . I always think King is using Monica, Monica is the nicest and is the one who always willing to play unlike Williams and others who soemtimes refused to play , but she always put Monica in 2nd choice, if Williams/Lindsay to play, Monica be the subsitute .

Monica, please don't be too kind, think more about yourself!

Rafa! Rafa! Rafa!

Ennis and Jack found something most people don't ever find in this life...true love, the deepest, purest, most beautiful thing in the universes. Ennis and Jack have TRUE LOVE. They are SOULMATES. They have a love so deep, so pure, so strong, that it transcends everything, it's eternal.

Monica's going to have to think hard about FED CUP. The matches only take a weekend but obviously she'll have to practise with the American team in Charlotte, before the tie starts. I think she'll play because the Williams' didn't play in Raleigh in 1999 and haven't so far played FED CUP 1st Round!!!!!!!

She definitely needs a rest.

She's committed to Amelia island, Charleston and Rome to my knowledge.

That means she will only play once in the 4 weeks running up to the French.

To be honest I wouldn't mind her playing Fed cup as long as it was on red clay.

I think that we'll see her play less tournaments over the summer running up to the US open though - her schedule last year was crazy !!!

She really should skip Fed Cup this year to well prepare for Rome and Paris. She has hinted such feelings in an interview. But she entered again. There are so many top American players, who should work for their country in turn.
