Wonderful new article on Jen!

A must-read. It looks she is handling her semifinal loss the right way. And she seems to understand that it isn't winning events that inspire people. Go Jen!

wow! this article brought tears .....happy tears. i am so proud to be her fan

oh i love that bit when she says she has a few more years to go!

"You can't change the way things have gone," she said. "I have no idea what might have happened. Maybe I wouldn't have won any [major titles]. In the end, nobody is going to think about how many Grand Slams I won. In the end, it comes down to what kind of person you are and how you affected others . . . things you did to affect people in a deeper way. That, to me, is more important."

WOW! i love you jen

thanks for that link JennyS

This article is fantastic, jen-jen is so positive about everything, i think next year could be a great year for us cappy fans is she stays fit avoids the injurys and keeps the same positive attitude no one will be able to stop jenny. 2005 - the year Jennifer Capriati claims back her no 1 ranking and wins the us open; that has a nice ring to it.

Miss you JENNY and GUGA

A lot of people would think I'd be crazy to stop playing, especially when I haven't even been 100 percent this year, and I've still come so close. Imagine if I was 100 percent, what I could do."

Now this is precisely what I was saying in another thread. Nice to see Jen thinking along the same lines too. To consider what she's done, with injuries and lack of play is tremendous.

Great article. Thanks for the link.

OMG!!!! Thank you so much for that article. That is the best thing I have ever read in my life. My day just got 100 times better because of it. Wow, I'm so excited now after reading it.

I still probably have a few more years. I'm right there. If I was not even close, then I could say, 'Maybe I don't have it any more, and I'm going to give it up.' But that's silly."
That is the best thing i have heard all year. Great news, just great news!!!

Very well said!!! It would be nice if Jen could win another slam, but if she doesnt, i dont even care(well, i do care cuz i want her to win). But she is just so cool and nice! Just getting to meet her at the US Open was all i needed. Man, I cant wait until next year. She is going to bring it and smash everyone and prove she still has what it takes. Go JEN!!!!!!
