Jen's fall schedule

Jennifer is scheduled to play two events this fall (Filderstadt and Philadelphia). She seems to be following Pete Sampras who played a light fall schedule from 99-01. I think it's good that she isn't overdoing it, especially since she hasn't had a good indoor season since 2000.

i think its a good idea too, Jenn never really plays that well during the indoor season, unless its at the year end champs. i'm also really not sure if Jenn will make it to the YEC this year, right now i think shes 7, but its close. i really don't think Jenn cares about the rest of the season after the US Open though, and really neither do i.

Venus n Sharapva are right at her heels at the Race....
hope she can achieve really good results in these two tourneys...
can see her taking a wildcard in between these 2 tourneys though...

I could see Jennifer having a respectable indoor season this year. I know she wants to be in the year end Championships and going winless in the indoor season won't get her there. I do care about the YEC because Jennifer made the semis there last year and has a lot of points to defend.

I don't know if Jen will take a wildcard. She's not a fan of playing indoors and doesn't usually play for ranking points.

I think its good that Jen doesn't play a lot in the fall season too. Even though I hate it and want to watch her play. But to me, I could care less about the indoor season. I hardly ever watch it or follow tennis at this time. But it would be good for Jen to still play, stay in shape, and get more experience against some top players. But I dont want her to risk any more injuries. Can't wait for her next tournament. Go Jen!!!!!!!

But WE WILL care if she would happen to win the YEC!

I don't think Jennifer would play in Europe the week before a tourney in the USA. If she adds a tourney, it will probably be Zurich. But then again, does she really want to play Filderstadt, then hang out in Europe for a couple of weeks and then play? Or would she go home and then go back to Europe?

I think if Jen really cared about the champions race, she would have committed to a couple more events.

Linz has a pretty weak field according to their commitment list ... n i have a feeling that Kuznetsova may pull out... therefore Jenn may be 'invited' to this tourney like how she was 'invited' to Moscow last year...

But what about Linz, Moscow, Zurich?? It's really sad she competes this little this autumn. She may not qualify for the YEC. She could stay for a long time in Europe if she wanted, all these tournaments are there and then she could go to Philadelphia. I wonder if these 2 tournies are really the only ones she'll be in. I HOPE NOOOT!!

Jen has rarely played more than three weeks in a row, so I doubt she would consider playing Filderstadt, Moscow, Zurich, Linz and Philly. She's at the point of her career where she has to schedule smartly. She shouldn't go out and play just to get some points.
