If all those players mentioned above commit, it'll be one very exciting tournament

I know I've been a liar
And I know I've been a fool
I hope we didn't break it
But I'm glad we broke the rules
My cave is deep now
Yet your light is shining through
I cover my eyes
Still all I see is you

I doubt Serena will play here. I don't think she has played this event in a while and she also needs to stay home for a while.

last time serena was supposed to play this tournament (2003?) she pulled out at the last moment. if she does pull out, they won't announce it til the last minute so they can still get more ticket sales!

Nothing new!

Given the fact Serena is skipping Fed Cup I
highly doubt she'll be ready by Stanford.

I want Venus to dominate this event and the rest of her scheduled tournaments. She is scheduled to play the Nordia Nordic Light Open i think she should withdraw form that tournament and play something bigger but i guess it will be a good confidence booster to win that little tourney.

Venus actually answered a question about that during
her 1st rd post match interview at Wimbledon.

She said she's playing because for so many years her summer schedule had been the same and she wanted a change. New change of scene I believe and hence she's playing in Stockholm, a place she's never been despite it being a T4 tournament.
