What does any of that have to do with my defending a Serena thread? You're comparing apples and oranges.

The fact you have to resort to exaggeration in order to defend your point proves you don't have one.

Re: Moderation Feedback Thread

Forum is acting up tonight. Got a database error and then all of a sudden I got 47 new notifications that weren't there before the error.

Yeah, several bugs lately again (threads disappearing, not being able to access last page of threads, right now I am not able to acccess the last page from this thread as well, then notifications of old PMs etc.), the webmasters are informed about those issues, so I hope that they are able to fix it soon, admins/mods can't do anything about it unfortunately.

Re: Moderation Feedback Thread

Several day's worth of posts in the Brexit referendum have disappeared overnight. I just posted in there to ask what was going on and my post isnn't visible. Can someone tell me what's going on please?

Ash Barty - Angelique Kerber - Johanna Konta - Naomi Osaka - Nadia Petrova - Laura Robson - Aryna Sabalenka- Taylor Townsend - Heather Watson

This was the thread:

https://www.tennisforum.com/290-chat...me-two-16.html

But the posts seem to be back today... but you can see the dialogue on the missing posts there, and the tests @Mauriac was doing (because we were posting, but the posts were not displayed... at some point a new page appeared linked at the bottom, but clicking on it returned an error - we've had this bug several times before on TF, especially last year).

Does clearing cache and cookie work? And how often do you do that?

Can you send me the link to that thread? What days do you think are missing?

Not necessarily. Some browsers are set to clear the cache at restart... I'm not saying it's that, and likely they fixed something, but just pointing out that it may still be the cache. In either case, do you still have the issue today? If yes, try a system restart and see if the problem persists, without manually clearing the cache. Then you can manually clear the cache and try again.

That's an exercise that could help the support team narrow down the cause of the issue.

Re: Moderation Feedback Thread

I'm noticing some threads being out of sync.
If you see any, please link it here and we'll look into it.
Commencing a rebuild in the backend of the forum software.
