Submitting Some Avatars

I've put 54 images which could be used as Avatars at the URL:

http://www.mfwweb.com/tennis/Avatars/

They are all jpeg images of female pro tennis players with maximum dimensions of 100x100 pixels. You don't have to worry about copyright problems because I personally took all of the photos from which these Avatar images were cropped and therefore am the copyright holder on all of these images. If anyone would like to use any of these as a WTA World Avatar, you have my permission. They are all action images, because that's pretty much all I take. Pictures of players in street clothes with their hair down and no hat on make more interesting Avatars. But those are hard to get. These action shots can serve as placeholders until more interesting images are found.

Thanks Franziscka and Mr. Man. I wish I had better pictures of Patty Schnyder. The one I submitted doesn't really do her justice. There's no light on her face (and she has a pretty face). She's sort of an enigma. What's really beautiful about her is the way she moves. It's very graceful and naturally athletic. That's a hard thing to catch in a picture, particularly a small one like an Avatar.

May we have an updated Amélie avatar, please?

Amélie Mauresmo, 2009 GDF Suez, 2007 Proximus Diamond Games, 2006 World No. 1 ,Wimbledon Champion, Proximus Diamond Games, Gaz, Australian Open, 2005 YEC, Advanta Chamionships, Italian Open, Proximus Diamond Games, 2004 World No. 1, Advanta Championships, Generali Linz, Rogers Cup, Italian Open, German Open, 2003 J&S Cup, Advanta Championships, 2002 Rogers AT&T Cup, Dubai Open, 2001 Gaz, Nice, Amelia Island, and Eurocard Ladies German Open, 2000 Adidas International, and 1999 Bratislava Champion

There's a fine line between love and hate; that line is called family!

No one does things exactly the way I want them to. No one ever has. It’s a problem they have!

AZARENKA!

You got all those crappy players in there, and no Bovina.

To Leena

My pictures tend to be of lower ranked players because I usually shoot the qualifying rounds of tournaments. Once in a while I might shoot the first round. But I don't stick around when the ticket prices go up, and the crowds show up. I need maximum mobility around the court to get decent pictures. And that's what I get during the qualies. I know you were just kidding when you used the word 'crappy'. The players ranked between 100 and 150 are very talented and a joy to watch. Occasionally I shoot higher ranked players in practice sessions. In fact I have a set of pictures of Miss Bovina practicing. I didn't submit any of them as avatars because the one you are currently using is better! She has a beautiful smile on her face. She's pretty serious in all of my pictures. But in case you haven't seen them. They are at:
