There are 2 ways to post an image:
1) if you want your image to be visible in your post, it has to be present on the internet. You can then refer to it by it's address. You put that address between the opening and closing code tag for an image. For instance:
would put the image which is on that address in your post. (The only reason it isn't, is because I wrote a voluntary error in the code: the asterisk in the closing [*
/img] - code should not be there.)
Note: this works also with addresses of pics you (or other members) have uploaded into the photo gallery, since they are on the net. You can easily find out what the address of a pic is by right-clicking on it, choosing properties -> you'll see the full address and will be able to copy it.
2) if your pic is not present on the net (which means of course you don't have an address for it), you can't make it visible in your post - you'd have to attach it, and that attachment will be a clickable link.
You have to have the pic on your computer. Under the advanced reply-box you'll see a link "Manage Attachments" => click it => popup gives you the chance to type (or browse your computer for) the path & name of the file you want to attach => click on "add" => wait till the name of the file is added => click on "all done". The pic will now be included in your post as an attachment, but you won't be able to see this in your edit box...
Hope that helped
Oh yes - this is the pic I referred to (quote me to see the code: )
