Question ATPWorld website down???

I could connect one hour ago. But I can't at the moment .

Is it temporary and how long? Or is there a problem with my server? But then how come I could connect previously?

Thanks .

I'm afraid it wont be coming back.

The ATP has decided it's in their best interests to force us to shut down your message board.

Erm, is that a joke? I wasn't aware that it was against any laws to have an ATP message board.

when you log on to atpworld.com you get...

This is the Server Administrator™ default page.
If you see this page it means:

1) hosting for this domain is not configured
or
2) there's no such domain registered in Plesk.

For more information please contact [email protected]

...that's f----- ! so it's totally gone? or just changing servers or whatever?

It's totally gone. It wont be coming back.

I'm sorry for everyone who used the site but I'm afraid there's nothing I can do. You might be interested in knowing there is a feedback button on the official ATP site.

Thanks for letting us know about the feedback button. Hopefully everybody will bitch to the ATP, and not to you. I know that I will... when after some sleep that is, when I can compose a paragraph...

So if I was to use free softwear on one of those lame site to use a similar ATP forum, would they care? Or was it because you were linked with the whole atpstarz network and generated a lot of traffic that they cared? Or can you not answer that...?

Because for anybody who cares, I still have that message board that was created around Xmas time, that is never used anymore With a little revamping it might not be so bad, but there are other free sites that provie better softwear than proboards, anyhow....

Look - anybody from atpworld who wants a temporary place to post, can go to my old message board at www.thetenniscult.mirrorz.com

It's not perfect, you get a lot of popups, and there is WTA on there as well. It's just a general board.

But you are all welcome to use it untill we can think of a better alternative, so that we don't clog this board with complaints about something that they can't do anything about.

Like I said before... Although there is a forum here, it's not the same as a board.

Seeing as we only had about 30 regulars anyhow, I'm sure that proboards could easily support that ...

I've fixed some stuff up on my old board, and would be happy to change it so that its more mens tennis themed than womens...

It would give us something for the time being, no? www.tenniscult.mirrorz.com was the link from above. Unless somebody has a better idea..?

I guess you'll get everyone from the Lleyton forum (if you'll take us We're all registered there anyway.

Whatever you say about the potato his assessment of the atp seems close to the mark.

Duck - Of course you are all welcome Scott still mods that forum, that isn't going to change...

Besides, it's you guys who got that board going in the first place, even if it did die out
