Request to moderators with regards to the "reputations" thingy

Dear admins/moderators,
Can you please get rid of the green reputation box placed under my username? If it is impossible or to difficult to do so, which I suspect it might be, can you atleast set the value to the lowest possible value (is it zero or negative)?

I understand this request might seem ridiculous and petty, but I have a very valid personal reason, i.e., my opposition in anything that would judge me or others based on popularity.

I also understand that you admins/moderators are busy with more important stuff right now, but please humor me when you have the time.

Thanks.

I agree with you.

And I do not even know how to delete the votes I got and are in my user cp.

I hope they get rid of that.

Thanks

Daniel

I don't think it's possible for ourselves to delete anything from the reputation thing.

I don't think what you ask is technically possible to do so, eta psi. Maybe Amanda knows a backdoor in the software but i sure couldn't find one to make reputation unavailable for a specific user. Sorry...

We are currently evaluating the use of the new reputation feature. Unfortunately it is not possible for us to turn it off on a per user basis.

This situation is this. If we determine it's being abused or used inappropriately, we will disable the feature completely.

okay, thanks wta_amanda and carot. You confirmed what I suspected - that you can't remove the options for individual posters. I guess I now have to pray that you decide to remove the whole thing all together.
