Because vbookies have been disabled and are not available anymore.

Re: Why can't i get on to the vBookie?

Is there any chance of getting it re-instated?

I still don't understand how the ATP allows MTF to have it, but the WTA doesn't allow TF to have it.

Could someone up higher contact the WTA and re-open the issue, now that WTA is out of the title and this forum is completely UN OFFICIAL. It really was a great part of the forum, and everyone misses it.

You could bet on WTA matches with your credits in vBookie. You can go on MTF.com to check out how it's used. It was the reason credits exist, now they serve no purpose at all.

Nothing special. Just some fake betting games and all you win is credits which are useless anyway in this forum.

It was fun. I only just caught the end of it. I think it died the same time WTAWorld become TennisForum.

Yes about that time, when WTA asked the board to take out wta from the forum name and didn't allow us to bet on wta matches anymore.

Well the question has been brought up over and over again, and there is no question about reinstating it for now.

Re: Why can't i get on to the vBookie?

Just wondering, would it be plausible that since they don't want us to bet on WTA matches anymore, could we still vBet on Fed Cup + ITF matches? Exho's?

I'm not asking that it happens, but is that still allowed under their agreement?

I don't understand why the WTA has shunned this forum. It's huge. If I were them, I'd want it to be a part of the WTA site.. maybe do it up with a nice new theme and link it from the WTA site. The should look after their fans.

When I first joined vCredits were called vCash and you needed to have a certain amount just to be able to have an avatar. There was also a shop where you could "buy" things like name changes, have your username in a different colour font, custom user title etc. There was more, but I forget. Rich members could also donate their cash to other members if they wanted to as well.

And I don't know the ins and outs of it, but I guess the WTA don't want betting on any matches involving their players.

"That's not my wonder! It's just a smelly sock!"
