IntelliTXT Ads

I have them disabled on my profile settings, but they're popping up everywhere for me. Why?

Re: IntelliTXT Ads

Same here.

Has anything ever been more of a misnomer? Because this "IntelliTXT" crap is, like, the dumbest thing ever.

Re: IntelliTXT Ads

The entire sportsnetwork is being upgraded/updated, so that may have an effect on different features, options, etc....

Re: IntelliTXT Ads

Depends on your browser. In Opera I just block the URL.

Use a Mozilla browser (Firefox or Seamonkey for Windows; Safari for Mac) then use the mozdev.org link to get the Adblock Plus extension. Use that here and you'll be able to disable those (along with the spyware carrying ones discussed in that other thread in this forum).

Re: IntelliTXT Ads

For IE (and XP) users:

I had it too, and always with the word 'fitness', even though I had it disabled.

I added the line '127.0.0.1 verticalscope.us.intellitxt.com' (without quotes) to the windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file and it's gone.
