What happened to my thread?

I posted a thread with a poll about if Vesnina or Errani was better looking, and it seems to have been deleted. I don't understand why this course of action would have been taken, because the thread was neither offensive nor inappropriate. Maybe it should have been posted in a player forum, but deletion seems a bit harsh. Can any mods help me understand this? Thanks so much, tucker1989

Re: What happened to my thread?

Maybe some Errani supporters took offense and reported the thread?

Re: What happened to my thread?

I didn't really understand either until i opened it.

I guess it looked like you wanted to take a strong stance from the get-go in this debate of the century.

Which can be offensive for the other party who by the way was compared to an insect in the second or third post.

to new beginnings.

Re: What happened to my thread?

I can understand you thinking that way, but it really isn't fair to just close something without any explanation to begin with. I wasn't breaking any of the forum's rules in creating this thread, yet it was treated in the same manner that highly offensive threads would be. If people used it as an arena for insults, then I'm sorry, but delete their individual posts and not the entire thread. Overall, if someone feels that my thread should be deleted that isn't obviously offensive, I'd like some explanation without having to ask for it.

Re: What happened to my thread?

Opening a thread with someone's best picture and the other's worst is gonna make people talk badly about one of the two.

it's offensive to put someone at such a disadvantage from the start of the discussion.

i don't doubt your good intentions but some things are expectable.

to new beginnings.
