Someone is deleting my posts and not telling me.

In the last month or so I've had to of my posts (that I know of) in Non Tennis deleted for no reason, and no PM about who has deleted them, or even why.

The first was in the "Father beats Gay Son" thread. I posted something - and got a few good reps (which are now vanquished). Then it was all of a sudden missing, obviously deleted by some mod, and then no message or anything about why

Then I posted in the "Ever Got 2 Posters Messed Up". Good reps again - so it obviously wasn't hurting anyone - again. Then it was deleted again with no PM or anything.

Firstly why were my posts deleted, and secondly why did I recieve no verification about it

Re: Someone is deleting my posts and not telling me.

I looked through your last posts and the only one I could see deleted was when you said you confused a fellow poster for a human being.

Rightly so, a mod deleted it.

And why wasn't I informed about it? My subscription and reps were removed concerning that post, and I had no word from the mod. It was clearly a joke anyway

Another one was deleted aswell, but whatever..

Considering what was in that post, I don't think you needed any explanation, nor notification to why it was deleted. And indeed when a post is deleted all the reps attached to it are removed as well.

And sorry I didn't have the patience to look way back at every one of your posts

Re: Someone is deleting my posts and not telling me.

I don't think there's anything written anywhere saying that we're obligated to tell you if your posts are deleted.

You can always ask - preferably via PM to the moderator of the relevant forum.

Usually the answer is that someone made a valid complaint about it. I don't know the specifics of your case but it looks like Yasmine has looked into that for you.

Don't see why this post should have been deleted in the first place? It's not really an insult and wasn't posted directly to someone, so it was legally unharmful. Not really a valid reason to delete a post.

It was in context of the post (and others directed at the same poster). People don't have to like each other, but they can refrain from targeting others for no reason.

Well if he didn't call the name of any poster, it's not direct and not an insult. Someone called me stereotypical gay whore, and I didn't see that post being deleted.

He did name the poster.

If something offensive is being said, report the post. Unfortunately we can't read everything.

Well if it offends you then you should report it with a valid explanation and it most likely would be deleted.

Moderators are not reading every post in every thread on this board.
