Question Infraction question

OK, so I was looking at my User CP and of course those ugly Infractions are there and I don't normally pay attention to them, but when I looked today I noticed something different.

On 28/10/2007, Yasmine gave me an infraction for "being a jackass" .

But within the last few days that reason has changed to "copyrighted material."

So what gives? How can you just change the reason? And what did I use that was copyrighted? And why did no one tell me?

Thanks.

Re: Infraction question

Why don't you just PM Yasmine or some other mod/admin, I don't think we all should know about your infractions.

Re: Infraction question

Someone added a bunch of new infraction labels - if they over-wrote "being a jackass" with "copyright whatsit" that would cause your infraction to change, too.

It would sadden me, as well, as I was very fond of the "being a jackass" tag.

Re: Infraction question

What are infractions? Do I have some in my UserCP?

How should you be? You should be like a rocky promontory against which the restless surf continuously pounds.
It stands fast while the churning sea is lulled to sleep at its feet. I hear you say,
"How unlucky that this should happen to me."
But not at all.
Perhaps say instead how lucky I am that I am not broken by what has happened,
and I am not afraid of what is about to happen.

You get them when you are a dirty boy

Or if an administrator doesn't like you.

Do they even mean anything? Or are they just sort of there.. like a bad rep! or is there a ban that accompanies them?

I want one

They serve as warnings. Usually you get an infraction when you step out of line.
It is kind of a way so that all the mods/admins can see you if you have been warned before, if you are posting stuff that would require a warning (if you have had an infraction before, chances are bigger that you'll get suspended). It also serves as a warning for you to adjust your posting behaviour.

If you had one, you would know it

What would you say if we could make
something amazing

Depends. I think behavior is way more fun than language
