Useless thread in Hopman Cup forum

There's a thread that has been started by a user with 1 post in the Hopman Cup forum. It's some advertising for Aeropostale or something, no idea what that is, but it's got nothing to do with the Hopman Cup, nothing to do with tennis altogether. Can it be deleted please.

It's easier to use the report button in these cases. An admin will get to it sooner that way.

OK. Well I wouldn't usually bother about reporting anything, cause I don't care that much. But this is just some shit that somebody posted for no reason at all. I'll report it.

You obviously care enough to post in that thread still, complaining that nobody wants to do anything about it. I have indicated it in the moderators forum, so hopefully an admin will get to it soon. You can be assured action will be taken.

I meant I don't care about other incidents, but this one is just a bit ridiculous so I felt something should be done. I don't remember complaining that nobody would do anything about it, I simply mentioned that it was a pointless thread that should probably be deleted. You seem to enjoy proving people wrong. But thanks anyway for mentioning it. It's not that serious a matter, it's just that the thread was kinda sitting in the forum with no real purpose. So I felt that I would try to see if someone would mind getting rid of it.

The thread was removed by an admin, so all is well now. I do not enjoy proving people wrong. I simply responded to a post in the now deleted thread, where you stated that the admins did not want to do anything about it. Mods and admins give up some free time to try and help out. They do the best they can helping everyone out. But I am sure you did not mean harm, so it's all ok.

I didn't state that no one was doing anything about it. I can't remember exactly what I said. But if it was when I mentioned I had made a thread in this forum then I had only just done that, so I was only telling the fellow posters in the thread that I had done it in case they had similar ideas. I was not complaining that it was taking too long or that no one wanted to do anything about it. Please don't tell what I have stated in the future And thanks for getting rid of the thread

Well, the thread was deleted so I can't retrieve the exact quote either, but you can be assured I do not lie about those things. And you can thank the admin that actually deleted the thread.

I wasn't accusing you of lieing... there's nothing you could have lied about. Only I know how I intend what I say to be taken, so you just interpreted it the wrong way. And I don't know the admin who deleted it, but thanks to Admin! Cheers!

It does not really matter anyway. The matter was resolved.

Well it does matter to me when somebody tells me that I've said something which I haven't, but the matter is resolved, so now someone may as well close this thread! JOKE! It doesn't worry me..

Should I use a report button in order to delete this ridiculous thread?

You don't get around much, do you?

Future reference to one and all - as James said, please use the report button to bring troublesome posts/threads etc. to our attention. Since all the admins and mods assigned to a given forum get emails when you use the report button, it's a much more efficient way to contact us.

Please and thank you.
