GM at the moment - sign of this board's terminal ilness

Can't you, let's put it this way, encourage certain posters not to open 7877875675757 new threads about "sign of greatness"? Not only they are completely meaningless and profoundly stupid, but now they could also be considered as spamming.

...and the fact that you (or anyone else) posted in those threads - sign that you're really not helping.

Don't feed the trolls people, they'll just follow you home.

Oh, I tried to help them. I told them to seek professional help.
And I don't believe it has got anything to do with me and the rest of the normal people on this board. There is a very well known group of troublemakers who create such threads and respond to them and while they are free to do it, these moronic threads will keep popping up.

Well it certainly doesn't HELP when you give them the attention they're looking for, does it?

Look, there's a limit to how much as adminimods we can do to de-fertilize the board. I doubt we could keep the place 100% idiot- and irritant-free even if we cloned about 20 of Sonja and tried. At some point, posters need to take a deep breath, and focus on posting in - or better yet creating - the kinds of threads they LIKE, rather then getting bent out of shape about the ones they don't.

oh god it's the same people over and over and over and over. Putting them on ignore is no use if they keep spamming the board with the same topic over and over and over.

Feel better if you have a life outside the board.... and then pity those who only get kicks from posting the same constant crap on a message board.
