Question PM read receipt / Message tracking?

When I send a PM I always ask for a read receipt. Since the new layout of the site, I only get the message "you have x confirmed and y unconfirmed messages", but I can't see the confirmations anymore?
And when I click this "you have x confirmed and y unconfirmed messages", I get a message that I am currently not tracking any messages. Well I guess I'm not...I wouldn't know how .

Am I overlooking something?

i have the same, but as long as i have 'unconfirmed' receipts i can still access the page and delete the confirmed ones...

i guess it's a bug in the software

Yup, I discovered that too.

It's a little bit annoying, since you can't delete the "confirmed message" (nor check when it was read by the addressee) unless you have an unconfirmed one in the queue, like carot said.

I found a way around that, though (well I would look for one, wouldn't I ).

Send yourself a PM [*] requesting a receipt - and don't open it, however curious you may be . That way you'll always have an unconfirmed message in you tracking box... so you'll be able to see/delete the confirmed ones whenever you feel like it.

posting again?

I had been thinking about that solution...just didn't know if I could send a PM to myself, and of course I hadn't bothered yet to try it out .

Yup. And the beauty of it is that it doesn't have to take up precious message-space!

Your message will appear in your "Inbox" of course (and in your "Sent Items" folder too, if you had that option checked when sending it)... but you can delete it from both folders without losing your tracking aid!
