Sania Mirza at Indian Wells

Does anyone know if Sania is likely to play at Indian Wells? By the end of the Dubai Open she might be ranked 85 or so. Would that earn her a berth. If not is she likely to get a Wildcard?

I am going there the first weekend. Hope she plays there. :-)

She is supposedly not competing again until Miami.

Good choice. She can rest her leg at the same time get some time off and work on various parts of her game... after all she has two weeks

Don't be deceived by the rankings!! Coria, Mirnyi, Schuettler, Fish, Safin, Henman, Tursunov, Wawrinka, Federer, Serena, Bovina, Li Na, Dementieva, Zvonareva, Sugiyama, Coetzer, Tanasugarn, Kumkhum, Zheng, Dokic and Kournikova are the world's best tennis players!!!

the entry lists are based on rankings from six weeks prior when the players commit. So her ranking would have placed her in the qualies. She said she is playing Miami if she can get a wildcard. She has changed a lot of her plans for the beginning of this year, initially she was going to be mostly playing in ITF events in the US but now she's switching over to WTA events.
