Could an alternate come in at the semi final stage?

Hopefully all four who make the semis will be fit enough to play having earned the right to be there but in a worst case scenario where someone just wasn't fit enough to play would the opponent receive a w/o straight into the final or would an alternate come straight in for the semi as a replacement.

I'm sure it's in the rules somewhere but if someone knows the answer off the top of their head that would be good....

I'm not sure, maybe if the person withdrew early enough the next place finisher from the withdrawed person's group can take her place? I don't know though.

Although if a semifinalist withdraws, she WILL be replaced.
Not by an alternate, but the third place finisher of the same group, who then plays a pro-set exhibition against the other semifinalist.

Same if a finalist withdraws, then the player she defeated in the semis will replace her.
