Yeah!!!!!!

I don't want to be too optimistic but Leni has a great chance of reaching the QF!!!She faces Asagoe for a place in quarters.I looked for their head-to-head and:

2001 BIRMINGHAM GRASS (O) R64 E. DANIILIDOU 6-3 6-3

2003 AUCKLAND HARD (O) R32 E. DANIILIDOU 6-3 6-2

So far she's never lost to the japanese

GO LENA!!!!!

Sveta

I just saw that Lena's last name spelling, in the title of this thread is ...wrong

It is Daniilidou and not Danailidou...
Can someone fix it?

Eleni reached 4th round and I think that considering the fact she played with the injury she got during olympics, it's a very good result. Too bad she didn't manage to beat Asagoe, but she made us proud anyway
