Thought Angie might be on the entry list. It's not like she's played a lot of matches this season.

Re: Main Draw Entry List

Wow! Just realized Kris is entered at 3 grass court tournaments pre-Wimbledon: Mallorca, Ricoh Open, and here. Really think she is going to be top 30 by Wimbledon. Exciting to see!!

Venus Masha Caro Sloane
Timea Aryna Belinda Naomi Petra Vika Kristyna&Karo Amanda Keys Kenin

Martina Hingis Forever!!!

115 Overall titles including 25 GS's!
Forever missing the Swiss Miss!

Grass is her best surface and she will obviously want to play every week, so unless she plays the 100K she doesn't have much choice

Li Na, Estonian Mynx Nettu-GOAT Kontaveit, Aljona Ostapenko and The Barty Party

Kanepi Bertens Kostyuk Rybakina Empress Hagatha

More likely not before QF - both of them probably will be seeds 5-8.

I forgot Wozniacki was ranked something like 80 last year this time, that's why she drew a Top 16 player I R1...

Re: Main Draw Entry List

Stosur has withdrawn. Turns out she didn't just have torn muscle in her hand in her match vs Ostapenko, but fractured hand. Bones take long to heal so doubt she will make Wimbledon either. First GS missed out of last 37. The article talks about being ready for US Open.

That's so disappointing. Still, it's better she takes the time to recover fully. Hopefully she'll be fit for the hard courts, and come back to Eastbourne next year. I like seeing her guns in person

With broken bones you have no choice but to follow Doctors orders. Usually 6 weeks to heal. At least it is clearer and less tempting to play while injured, as she did for 8 months with her shoulder injury recently The silver lining is with fractured bones she has a definitive period and HAS to rest. Too bad you will miss the guns, but at least she has time to recover and the guns will be out Eastbourne 2018 I'm sure

I hope so Such a pain it happened just as she had found some good form but hopefully she'll come back with renewed vigour. At least we all know she's still able to play at a high level after her run on the clay.
