1st semi line-up confirmed as McNally vs Riske

Hev a set down against Rybarikova on Court 1 (the ATP have bagged the Centre Court once again).

Watson loses. Maria has the first set against Wickmayer.

Re: Surbiton W100

Maria wins, so we have 3 players already in the Wimbledon main draw and Caty McNally trying to get there (her semi due to start soon, weather permitting).

Riske's win frees up another Wimbledon wildcard.

Re: Surbiton W100

With Katy's 2 Surbiton wins and her showing today against finalist Riske, as well as Jodie not winning and not being able to play next week (and who knows how long after), I assume that will just about be Katy confirmed as the 5th GB WC, assuming there is at least 5. It will take something special from the likes of Naiktha or Maia in Nottingham this week, like a SF or something IMO to stop her. Naiktha not helped at all by drawing top seed Garcia in R1.

WTA Nottingham is a lot weaker than it was looking a couple of weeks ago, but at least 80% of the field are already in Wimbledon and we saw Jakupovic reach the Nottm QF last year and then come through Birmingham Q's to reach the QF there as well, yet was still overlooked, so I think an 'outsider' would need to at least reach the Nottm final to get in the mix, which is very unlikely.

Rybarikova vs Riske should be a very good final. I'll be looking to stream it.
