What does everyone think of the potential level of the US girls born after 1990? I am very interested to see where you would rank them all? I definitely think Sloane is top 30 material and will get there once she gets some more experience under her. I see Melanie keeping in the 50-100 range for her career. I think McHale also has top 50 potential. Thoughts on anyone else?
Right now I would say Sloane and Christina are the best bets to have a great career. Sloane has shown she is a great doubles player as well.
Unless Melanie drops her coach, she will be 50-100 for the rest of her career. I can see Coco having a Kirilenko-eque career.

1. Melanie- She needs a new voice and new direction. She had her success as a counterpuncher, and now she's trying to completely change her game to be the aggressor on court. It's no secret she's regressed in the past 12 months. I think she COULD be top 30 if she can consistently play her best again and decide on the type of player she wants to be. If not, then low top 100.
2. Christina- I could see her being as high as top 30. She's on her way to being a solid top 50 player
3. Coco- Skies the limit. She just needs to work a little on the mental side of things and improve her backhand and movement. Other than that, all the tools to succeed are there. I think she could be top 20 in a couple of years.
4. Sloane- Top 30 potential. Beautiful strokes and just a natural talent. She needs to really work on her ON COURT attitude though. I've seen her play three different times this year, and every time when she got down, she started slouching and moping about the court. Hopefully that will go away with more maturity and experience.
1994-1996 girls who I think have the most potential: Jessica Pegula, Madison Keys, Brooke Austin, Gabby Andrews. Watch out for those names
Serena Williams ~ Maria Sharapova ~ Venus Williams ~ Jelena Dokic ~ Melanie Oudin ~ Christina McHale
