I still think this poster IS the Brie Rippner whose father Rob (who became a radiologist) was the Stanford mens captain in 1970, and then teamed in pro doubles with Future Fugitive Roscoe Tanner. Brie suffered an essentially career ending "shoe stuck to Rebound Ace" injury @ the '01 AO, tearing up her ankle bad enough that most racehorses would be euthanized in the track ambulance.

She tried a couple of comebacks, losing in the first one the next year @ IW to some 14 y.o. Russian named Sharapova (sorry Max, I mean TOB) in Masha's first tour win. This poster only posts about injured players, and for whatever reason apparently deletes most posts later. So to Aubrey (which Brie is short for in this case) from David Gates and Bread:

According to Monique's MySpace page, she had major wrist injuries, it doesn't say anything about an ankle injury: http://www.myspace.com/momov. Some of her songs are there too. Barbanschikova is a better singer it seems, though Monique is hotter (despite Olga's onetime Kournikova II hype).
