Charleston - Tier I

Lexy won 1st rd Qualy match 6-0 6-0 over 11th seed
Kumiko IIJIMA of Japan in 49mins!

All that stand between her and the MD now in 2nd seed
Julia SCHRUFF of Germany.

Good Luck Lexy!

Uranium, I have a feeling Dokic could have done the same, and even more. I feel really bad when I see your avatar because I know her place is in top100

Re: Charleston - Tier I

yea, she had so much potential to do well this year, but just stopped caring and desiring to play.
I want Lexy to do well here, i wanna know how she would play against a top player again

Same here! i really want to see her play
a top player! I am just so happy for her!

I screamed when I checked the results at the
FCC website! Lexy knocked off two seeded players
and did it in straight sets!

Lets see where she could land
and whom she could play.

1st rd: (9)Zvonareva, Qualifier, Craybas, (WC)Rolle,
(13)Azarenka, Chan, Dominguez-Lino

Top Half
Playing Zvonareva 1st rd would be the biggest match for her in years!
Playing the Qualifier could set up a 2nd rd against Jankovic!
Playing Craybas 1st rd would be a big test and could set up a 2nd rd against Dementieva.
Playing WC Rolle 1st rd could set up a 2nd rd against Azarenka.
Playing Azarenka 1st rd would be the biggest test for her in years!

Bottom Half
Playing Chan 1st rd would be the biggest match for her in years!
Playing Dominguez-Lino 1st rd would be the biggest match for her in years!

Part of me wants her to draw the other qualifier to possibly play against Jankovic. The other part wants me to see her play Rolle and then get a crack at Azarenka.

Regardless, haven't been this excited for Lexy in a long time!

Do work baby girl!

Tyrone Walker/The Post and Courier

Alexandra Stevenson returns a forehand against
Kumiko Iiijima of Japan during their Family Circle Cup
qualifying match Saturday. Stevenson won, 6-0, 6-0.

1st rd:Qualifier

Top Half
Playing the Qualifier could set up a 2nd rd against Jankovic!
Lexy drew fellow qualifier Jodkova, a very winnable match for Lexy!
And should she indeed win, 2nd rd against JJ!

Do work Lexy!

Re: Charleston - Tier I

Jidkova?, Alex should beat her, she has a weak backhand and I believe Alina isn't good on clay, so i hope she wins
