Tier III - W&SFG Women's Open - Cincinnati, OH

Okay, Lexy's 2nd tournament back. Last year,
she lost in the final rd of qualifying and
then lost in the 1st rd of the MD as a LL.

Lexy's 1st opponent in qualifying is
wild card Julia Cohen.

Good Luck Lexy!

Here we go again...

she probably got broken serving at 1-2 in the third set and decided to throw in the towel. On the draw sheet it says she retired due to a right pectoral muscle strain. She better not start this trend again.

Good luck and don't retire anymore Alex!

It was that 1st set that
cost her the match IMO.

Serving for the 1st set 5-3 30-0.
Then had to go to 7-6.

I think the extra effort, along with the many missed
bp's in the beginning of the 2nd set overwhelmed her
confidence and likely physically tired her out.

It does get frustrating because she plays so well at
many times to get those 1st sets and then if she doesn't
get her opponent to fold soon in the 2nd, she just goes away.

Oh well, keep fighting Lexy!
I have to believe this isn't all being done
in vain and she finally gets things to click.
Hopefully sooner than later.

I mean, you can obviously see that their is still
talent there. And we just want her to tap back
into it.

You don't really believe some of the nonsense you post, do you? Please say you don't.

And you care because?

You never show up anyways until
she or others lose so you can
talk trash on them.

Pseudo-concern.
