ASB Bank Classic

Pebbles will be playing against Agnes Szavay in qualies. I wish her the best of luck and I know she'll get passed this match.

The woods are hopeless. Don't waste your time, they will be destroyed. So will the marsh. It is a losing game mankind has played for more than a century. Sadness is what you are, do not deny it. The universe is a lonely place, a painful place. This is what we can share between us, period.

You beat me to it! It's great she made it passed this match. The second set looked close but great job Pebbles.

Pebbles def Schaul 6-4, 6-4. Hasen't dropped a set yet. She's having a great start in '06.

Pebbles plays Kostanic next. The last time they met was in 2004 Stanford R32 and Kostanic won 7-5 4-6 6-1. Hopefully Ashley can get some revenge and win this one.

You called it LefandePatty That's an awesome win for Pebbles! She must have been on fire in the first set. Now onto the MD.

Pebbles plays Craybas next. Jill has a 2-0 lead in their head to head, tho Ashley had to retire in their first match. Last time they met was at Wimb '05 with Craybas winning 6-4 in the 3rd.

I'm confident that Pebbles will win this one. She lost the last time she played Kostanic and she won. Ashley seems to be in good form. Good Luck Pebbles make us proud!

Pebbles lost today Jill Craybas d. Ashley Harkleroad 26 61 76(4) Looks like she had a great first set and really fought hard in the second. 7-4 is a close tie-break.

Well the good thing is she started '06 with a few wins and this lose was super close. I think Pebbles will only go up from here.
