Md/wc

Top 108 as of the 12th May I believe.

UK Number One Laura Robson out with injury.

Konta could make main draw with some withdrawals if she is still 111 on the 12/05 otherwise WC

Watson, Broady & Murray likely MDWC

Moore, Windley, Carreras & Webley-Smith QWC

Re: Md/wc

I would hope Tara Moore gets a MDWC over Murray, based on her match with Kanepi last year.

Re: Md/wc

MDWC

1)Konta (If she doesn't sneak in)
2)Watson (If she doesn't sneak in)
3)Broady (Top 250)
4)Murray (If she stays top 250)
5)Moore (If she stays top 250)
6)Next direct entry/player who plays well in Notts/Birmingham
7)Next direct entry/player who plays well in Notts/Birmingham
8)Next direct entry/player who plays well in Notts/Birmingham

Maybe Ana Konjuh? AELTC like to give wildcards to promising juniors/young players (e.g Pavlyuchenkova and De Brito when they were both 15 in 2007 and 2009).

QWC

1)J.Windley (Top 300)
2)E.Dean (Young, had promising results in 2011 before a bad injury forced her out for 2 years. Returned with some very impressive results including 2 10k titles)
3)E.Webley-Smith (Played well at Wimbledon before, I think she'll get one)
4)K.Dunne (Young, rising up the rankings)
5)A.Smith (Returned from a long injury and has reached top 500 having returned to the circuit less than a year ago)
6)Boulter (Young, top junior in the ranks, senior ranking starting to move up)
7)WC play off
8)WC play off

Some the above players might have to go through the play off I'm not sure. Taylor Townsend (Last years junior finalist) might also get a QWC if she doesn't get in on her own ranking. I'd also like to see Katie Swan (born 1999 and top 100 junior)be given a chance in the play off.

I don't think Whybourn will be fit enough the play in June so I'm not sure if she'll play. Carreras has only played 2 tournaments this year so im not sure if she'll be over for the grass season this year.

Re: Md/wc

I agree with the other main choices. As Belinda Bencic will undoubtedly get in main draw, the junior champion wild card is vacant so as others say, maybe Townsend or Konjuh could snap it up. Another player who could well get a WC if she plays - ex-finalist Vera Zvonareva - as she has used her injury ranking entry, she would need one and would probably ask for one.

Re: Md/wc

I hope QWC go to some fresh youngsters

Dart, Dean, Boulter, Dunne, Silva, Richardson

Obviously Windley and Smith will get one and EWS probably.

Moore may sink below top 250 at this rate

Re: Md/wc

Bencic won't need one… Konta has a good chance to get in as well.

My guesses:

1) Heather Watson.
2) Samantha Murray.
3) Naomi Broady.
4) Tara Moore.
5) Vera Zvonareva, if she wants one she'll get it, but she seems injured again?
6) Taylor Townsend she's had good results and made the final last year, so she's sort of the alternate for the junior wildcard.
7/8 will be random probably, based on Nottingham/French Open/Birmingham. And obviously Konta if she doesn't make it.

My number one: Victoria Azarenka

ATP: Novak Djoković

Crazy Frenchies: Gilles Simon Alizé Cornet

Re: Md/wc

1) Konta
2) Watson
3) Murray
4) Broady
5) Moore (I think she will be top 250 if not then they are quite ruthless)

These are non-negotiable.

6) Zvonareva
7) Petrova
If either of these two want one they will get it.

Any other are for someone who goes deep at RG/Nottingham/Next direct in

Qualifying
1) Townsend (If she doesn't get in on her own)
2) Windley
3) Smith
4) Webley-Smith
5) Carreras (They should give her one if she comes for the grass season)
6) Either Moore if she's out of top 250 or Katie Boulter
7) Play off
8) Play off

Play off field will have
Eleanor Dean
Katy Dunne
Lucy Brown
Manisha Foster
Eden Silva
Freya Cristie
Harriet Dart
Whybourn (if she's fit)
amongst others.

Could actually a great play-off full of future stars hopefully.

R.I.P Bally

Re: Md/wc

I agree with you all
Md/wc
1) Konta
2) Watson
3) Murray
4) Broady
5) Moore
These are certain
Nasty Nadia and Vera would have good shots if fit and if the asked.
Any low ranked surprise at the French, Nottingham or Birmingham are always in with a chance too

Re: Md/wc

Konta is in direct.

Watson is at 112 so is nearly certain to get in direct too.
