Venus v Justine-Who will be in the final?

It would be the first AO final for both? Who will win their semi-final match?

I know that Justine beat Lindsey, but she is playing a totally different player. Venus is on a run to win the Australian Open and I don't even Serena can stop her from that title. I know everyone has been picking Kim to win which is ridiculous. Venus has been in more grand slam finals than any of the player left in the draw, but they give it to Kim. I can't figure out why Kim and Serena are favorites and not Venus, especially since Kim has only made one Grand Slam final in her life. Just goes to show you that Venus with all her hard efforts gets no respect from those two worthless excuses for commentating, Big Bird and Big Dummy, Pam Shriver and Mary Jo Fernandez. Venus will blast Henin-Hardenne off the court. I like Justine, but Venus is on a terror and Hardenne will be hopping on a plane after tomorrow's match into the arms of her husband which is not a bad consolation.

Blessings,

I give Justine a good chance ... only Wimbledon was a save victory for Venus, all the other matches were close (if Justine didn't won ) ans Justine is on fire down under ...

Go Justine

The only reason why everyone is picking kim to win this title, she has more matches coming in b/c she won the sydney title, but the factor that she didn't play venus or serena yet tells me she will loose. the last tyme she played Serena, she lost, and count out Venus at LA, that wasn't even a match. The last tyme she played a injured free Venus, she lost 6-3 6-3. so expect kim to go down. matter of fact, i think mskynia is going to try and prove somethign here. i think she really wants to pull an upset!

If i were placing bets, i would definately put my money on Venus making the final over Justine. The quarterfinal and semi for serena dont seem to be too difficult but if sh edoesnt come out firing, things could get ugly for her. i really dont think Meghan can even hang with serena at this point. i see serena easily overpowering her after a a tough first set. I think teh Kim/Serena match should serena make it and kim make it is going to really be the test. I think if serena doesnt clean meghans up quickly she will be in for a dogfight with kim, if serena is relatively rested she will win in 2 tight sets. If she makes the final against venus, i expect serena to complete her serena slam, if kim makes it, i expect Venus to exact quick and painless revenge on Kim in two easy sets. this is not clay. or hamburg. Venus is attacking the net too much to lose to either kim justine or maybe even serena if she is a bit off.

Venus will probably win but I don't think it's as safe a bet as her matches so far have been.

It'll be a tight match, Justine has been playing great lately...especially her first win over davenport.

Good Luck Radwanska Sisters!

I can see Venus having trouble if she is off and just making those silly ue's, double faults, bad serving percentages, etc. If Justine is playing well she can definitely take advantage of that and topple Venus. Otherwise, it should be a routine job for Vee.
