ANNA KOURNIKOVA?

Anna lost in the singles and the doubles but was in the Mixed Doubles event. She and Alex Bogomolov won their first round match and now it says that they have withdrawn from the tournament. Anyone have any news about this? Was it Anna who withdrew or was it Alex? If it was Anna, why did she withdraw?...

Thanks in advance for anyone who has this info!

dlandy22, you can relax. Alex withdrew because of back spasms.

Happy to help! When my faves withdraw, I need to know why, too.

this really suck. I though that Anna was going to do well in doubles if not in singles.

She and chanda should of won their 3rd round doubles match. It really suck that Anna is not int he mixed anymore. She and alex look really good in ttheir 1st round. Hope for the best for Anna next time
