Lisa or Rennae?

Who will win the face off of old doubles partners?

Will it be Lisa Raymond or Rennae Stubbs in the doubles SF?

Will it be a friendly match?

Definitely Lisa and Lindsay. if Rennae had a better partner (like, say, Arantxa for instance) it might be closer, but Pierce is the real weak link here, IMHO.

And will it be a friendly match? Hell no! Both teams will be out for blood (with Lisa being the angriest, I do believe!)

linds/lisa

Mary/Rennae! The crowd will supporting Rennae as Aussie and Mary as favourite crowd! They usually in fire at the first set in all of three matches so, it will be again!

My prediction: Mary/Rennae 6-3 3-6 6-4

Pierce is a good doubles player, marsha. You would mention Arantxa as a better one

Mary/Rennae

I would have said Linds/Lisa last week (and I hope they actually win ), but I've changed my mind. I don't think they will be out for blood, marsha, but both of them probably want to win it pretty badly. It should be fun, and I would love to see that match.

Trust you to start this thread Bea!! All four of them are still very good friends. People seem to think that Rennae and Lisa have fallen out. This is not the case and Rennae was actually sat watching Lisa in her singles. I think both teams will want to win, but purely from the point there's a place in the semi-final at stake and nothing else.

Tennis without Rennae would be like a broken pencil................ completely pointless

Lindsay and Lisa will win if they r really committed into doubles..u know sometimes Lindsay when she loses in singles, she doesnt care about double neither so i wonder if she'll play focused or not.
if she'll do,Lindsay and Lisa will win.if not,Pierce and Stubbs will take their chance

GO LINDSAY/LISA!

well 3 of the 4 have v. good Aus. Open doubles record - I think Lisa will be trying to help Lindsay get that darn doubles title she wants - she's got the unfortunate record of being the most runner ups in the doubles here in Oz <g> (heck she has a good runner-up record.... if you include her one in Sydney for singles as well)
