Pratt likes to prattle

"Pratt said beforehand that although she could not compete with Williams for power, she believed she had a better mind, and could trouble the four-time major winner."
Better Minds don't talk stupid! How dare you?

..and it took her 29 years to figure this out....lmao these players are so stupid that they just need to keep quiet sonot to make it obvious. anybody who watched the match between pratt and venus knows where the brains on the court were-at the net and not at the baseline scurrying like a mouse. And for God's sake , i wish people would stop saying Venus over powers them. Venus clearly out played her by opening up the court with angles or volleys.

Actually the only difference was in serves, if u take out Pratt's double faults and Williams aces you will find that Pratt actually won only lost 3 less points than Venus!

Pratt had 14 break points against Venus and 11 game points on her own service.

Pratt actually won 62% of the rallies!

and Pratt actually had Venus scurry almost as much as she was running around, was even in that regard!

Pratt definitely has the game to go top 25, she has gone up another notch! Even top 20 is feasible for her, dunno think she could get much higher than about 17 or 18 though. Next few months though will be telling. but already she is in the top 15 Race for the Chase, a good start!

Shes a good player but top 30 is the most she'll get to in her career i think. Its a bit early for her to be declaring she'll make the top ten.

Don't you think Prattie was just trying to emphasize what her *strengths* were -- she didn't even say she could *beat* Venus anywhichaway, she just said "trouble" her -- which I think she did! Not much, but a little...

What should Prattie have said? "Oh no, I can't even compete with Venus so I'll just lie down and die now" -- ?? (be real!) -- **something** positive was needed for Prattie to even play that match, don't you think? Cut the kid some slack.....

Ditto Aloysius!

OK, so I'll probably see pigs flying before seeing her name in the top 10....but so what! She has a dream, let her be! Should we just tell 3/4 of the WTA to give up for having a dream?
Geez, some people can be so hard on these girls...she is out there giving it her all, making the most of what she has, what are you guys doing?

Also, a lot of you are falling prey to the media again...Nicole did not say "she has a better mind" than venus per se, the press (and some of you) have just taken it out of context.

Don't all you Aussies call her "Prattie" -- *ALL* of the US commentators called her that -- just like Rennae is always "Stubbsie"!

LOl, who do you think venus is, Hingis?? Lol

How do you think Venus opens up the court?? By Penetrating with her power (and placement).. This is nothing to be ashamed of, or deny!!!! Then she comes in and puts away the easy volley..Its a good plan that works....

Of even more significance, there's this little gap in Graf's resume the size of the hole in the ozone layer: It's called Monica Seles. Was Graf the best female player of all time? She wasn't even the best in the heart of her career.
