Venus vs Dani

Venus hasn't dropped a set yet, though she's not playing her best tennis. Does Dani have a chance??

I dont believe that Hantuchova has a chance of beating the queen!! Now i didnt see her match today against pratt (but if anyone did could they comment their opinion on how venus played) but from what I saw on the live scoreboard online, Venus seemed to be very up and down. winner then UE. Also she seemed to have trouble closing out games. She would be up 40-15 or so and it would go to deuce. She also had trouble with her serve. (shell clean that up too) She did come back a lot though. She was down 15-40 a few times and came back to take the game so she kind of balanced herself out it seemed in her 4th round match. (For people who watched it, did she come to the net a lot?? its seemed like she did, i think they said 36 times or something?? must be practicing for future matches) Now, I dont think hantochova has a chance because she is way too inconsistent. In her last 4 matches shes had some very LONG sets. like 4 tiebreaks i think. Venus had an iffy day today and when she does that she always comes back out the next round with a much better, cleaner win. So I believe thats wut she will do. Shes a smart girl, she knows what she has to do to beat dani. Shes done it before. I say 6-2,6-4??!!

What do you all think??!!!

Venus played awfully against Pratt. Lots of double faults, errors, and etc.. But sometimes Venus woke up and make some good winners.. But then again, she ended up making another bad error..

Like you said very up and down.. I think Daniela would, I repeat, WOULD! have a chance against Venus, even with Venus playing the way she did today.

BUT, Daniela didn't convince me as a top player. I think she doesn't have what it needs to be a consistent and a player that could actually threat the big babes. It's gonna be a walk on the park for Venus..

Daniela will begin well but will be done soon.. 6-3 6-1 for Venus

Daniela has the potential but i highly doubt she'll win more than 9 games against V, and thats being generous

either 6-4 6-3
or 7-5 6-2

something around there

All I know is that it's going to be a tight match, hopefully Vee will be more consistent with her serve.

GOOD LUCK VENUS

Venus will be more concentrated against Hantuchova and will cruise through to the semis

As iffy Venus' play was in her 4th round, Dani's has been more so in all four of her matches. Dani is still very much in the "great potential" stage, which is understandable considering how long it took even Hingis, much less Linds, Rena, and Venus to mature into champ form.

Two tight sets.

Someone is quietly turning back the clock...to them bulldozer dayz...

Always on the lookout for a great tennis match.

I think Dani has a great chance she played really well against Patty and Venus is playing disgusting tennis.

Dani might win unless Venus gets better!

GOOD LUCK IN 2019 GB TENNIS GIRLS

Johanna Konta, Katie Boulter, Heather Watson, Harriet Dart, Gabby Taylor

Laura Robson, Katie Swan, Katy Dunne, Jodie-Anna Burrage

Tara Moore, Emma Raducanu, Maia Lumsden

What does it tell you when Venus can play such "awful" and "disgusting" tennis, according to some posters here, and she still wins? I swear, some of you are so funny, LOL, LOL, LOL!!!

Venus normally always plays terrible early on and cleans it up in the later rounds. I mean she almost lost a set to Shaughnessy at the US Open in 2001, but went on to win easily.

Venus will be prepared and will smack Daniela down.
