Did Capriati leave her smile and positive attitude in the locker room ?

I'm currently watching the Capriati/Weingartner match for the first time...and my god...Capriati looks like a dead body on two legs...Even when she was up 6-2, 3-0, she looked like a zombie....What's wrong with her ? She doesn't seem to be enjoying herself at all...Also, I read Capriati's post-match interview and she never gives credit to her opponents, does she ? She really is starting to get on my nerves with all those excuses about her eyes...Honestly, I'm happy she's out...

Though, I'm no Capriati fan, this has got to be a nightmare for her and her fans. First time a defending champ was bounced at the AO in the first round? Ouch! Having your eyes lasered is no joke!

Gee, don't include this......honestly, it would ruin everything.....

However the two-time Australian Open champion was quick to give her opponent credit for her career-best performance. "She just hit really great shots out there," she said.

Oh yeah ? Well, I just watched her post-match interview and she said : She played well BUT I wasn't match tough...bla bla bla...I do agree that she said Marlene played well but there's always this BUT that tries to justify her loss..... Please, Jennifer, just admit she outplayed you. Period.

not to defend her, but when was the last time you heard a top player say that were outplayed? that's what they do. if they say that someone was better than them, then people all over will think that they can beat that player. they just don't do it. period.
