Kim Clijsters gets easiest draw.... gotta be rigged!

I think Tennis Australia rigged the draw for Kim so that she will one day play for Australia. She has the easiest of draws ever. Unbelievable the lengths Tennis Australia will go to for someone who probably will never play for Australia anyway. Just unbelievable! Serena has a tough draw as does Jen and Lindsay and Monica. Venus' draw is not too bad but Kim's draw is a joke!

Congratulations on being the first to talk about rigging. No matter how the draw would have turned out, I'm sure there'd be people claiming it was rigged.

(at least I think you're the first, I may have missed other threads)

yah, yah. if that was the case, they would have rigged molik's draw too as she is the most on-form aussie now. but who does she get in the 2nd round? davenport

true she has always has the easy draws. even lleyton has an easy draw. its a conspiracy i swear.

why rigg a draw for a crappy player like molik who in grand slams and big tournaments crumbles. she may have played well at the hopman cup but that is because it is an exhibition tournament and no one gives a damn about exhibition matches.

molik beat an out of sorts hantuchova who would have easily beaten molik at sydney judging the way she played against lindsay. she beat tulyagonava who was suffering an injury and bedanova who was not playing well at all but still could of and should have won that match. molik is just plain crap when the big tournaments roll around where as the the three players she beat at the hopman peform very well and have had some good grand slam results.

anyway the draw is rigged for lleyton and kim because both have the easiest draws on both the womens and mens sides.

I dunno- Serena's draw looks pretty tepid too. If the Aussie's
wanted to really pull a fast one- I also think Molik would not have
to play LD.

Why is a section with Myskina, Chanda, ED, Iva Majoli, Mary P
Barbara Schett, and Amanda Coezter conisidered easy anyway?
I don't think Kim has ever played a GS with as much
expectation as this year's AO 2003 after beating Serena
at last year's WTA Championship. there's a hella lot of
experience, and cunning wit's in Chanda,Mary, Iva, Amanda,
and Barbara Schett's game. I don't think it's really
as easy for Kim after the first 2 rounds!!!

Any comments?

Oh the conspiracy theorists strike again. What rubbish to say the draw is rigged. It sounds like people looking for excuses, before the tournament's even begun (just like Jelena Dokic did regarding her 1st round draw against Lindsay Davenport a couple of years back).
