Re: Three Hands #17 - Tokyo [7 YEC Spots Available!]

To Play

Post
- Simply list your three hands clearly and identify your back ups before main draw begins.
- Back ups are not necessary if undesired.
- List a final tie break but are not necessary if undesired.

Code:
We will use Brisbane 2013 as an example:

Hand 1
- Pavlyuchenkova (Errani)

Hand 2
- Kerber (Stosur)
- Kvitova (Vinci)

Hand 3
- Azarenka (Lisicki)
- Sharapova (Wozniacki)
- S.Williams (Stephens)

Final
- 20 games
Score
- A scoreboard will be updated by the manager

Code:
How to score?

Hand 1
> 4
> 4 x 3 = 12, earns 12 points

Hand 2
> 2 + 1 = 3
> 3 < 4 so 3 x 0 = 0, earns 0 points

Hand 3
> Wozniacki replaces Sharapova
> 3 + 0 + 5 = 8
> 8 > 4 + 3, earns 8 points

Total Scored: 12 + 0 + 8 = 20 Points
Perfect Hands
- Perfect Hands may have multiple combinations.
Code:
How to achieve perfect hands?

 32 draw = Pick Winner, Finalist, 2 Semifinalists and 2 of the 4 Quarter-finalists
 64 draw = Pick Winner, Finalist, 2 Semifinalists, 4 Quarter-finalists and any 1 Round 16 achiever
128 draw = Pick Winner, Finalist, 2 Semifinalists, 4 Quarter-finalists and any 4 Round 16 achievers

So what happens when a friend or partner holds a different opinion against your favorite?
- Agree to disagree, don't hold grudges for someone else

Re: Three Hands #17 - Tokyo [7 YEC Spots Available!]

Newsflash: Buitenzorg qualifies for Istanbul

Buitenzorg, from Australia, an active Three Hands player since the inaugural tournament in Australian Open, becomes the first participant to have qualified for the Year End Championships at Istanbul during the 2013 Three Hands test season (with 2914.2 points).

With a comfortable lead of 362.4 points against the next person in line (valac222) and more than 900 points against the first alternate currently in rank (Heinann), Buitenzorg has consolidated a lead where no alternates can past him in the upcoming matches in Tokyo and Beijing. He has a great chance to stay at #1 till the end of the season!

Congratulations!

Buitenzorg Stats (As of 2013 Tokyo)

Current Ranking: 1
Best Ranking: 1 (Achieved 2013 Birmingham)
Weeks in #1: 15
Longest #1 streak: 15
Finals reached: 2 (Dubai, Roland Garros)

  Correct Pts & Order Ivanovic 6-4 6-3 > Ivanovic 6-3 6-4

  Closer Pts Ivanovic 7-5 7-5 > Ivanovic 6-0 6-0
  Compare Back Up
  Higher participant rank wins

- In case of same loser, we compare back up.
- In case back up still same loser, go by the following order:

  Example - Ivanovic def. Vinci 6-4 6-3
  Incorrect Set Vinci 6-4 3-6 6-3 > Vinci 6-4 6-3
  Correct Pts & Order Vinci 6-4 3-6 6-3 > Vinci 6-4 2-6 7-5
