Re: $25,000 Leipzig (GER) 2018 | Aug 13 (Qualifying Draw)

Wagner has been in great form this year but she got injured twice, first in Stuttgart at the start of the year and then in her first tournament back.

Re: $25,000 Leipzig (GER) 2018 | Aug 13 (Draws)

Niemeier completely destroyed her racket at the end of the Strakova match, couldn't contain her anger at gifting the match away to this basic scrub.

Tsitsipas & Sakkari outed.

It's a $25k, pretty sure most (if not all) of these players are "scrubs".

Yes, I saw the match too !

I can totally understand her anger und frustration.
Niemeier fought very hard, came back from 2-6 3-5 down and also from 0-3 in 3rd set, then served for the match at 2-6 7-5 5-4, then again at 2-6 7-5 6-5, only to lose the match in a 3rd set tiebreak

Totally unnecessary, stupid, painful loss. She needs the points to climb the ranking.

All this fight back for nothing, to play a very bad 3rd set tiebreak

Strakhova was mentally stronger and more experienced than 19 yo Niemeier.

The match was on her racket in the third at least, hitting her spots well until the choking....

Strakova with mainly push & pray tennis..,

Always hate to see the braver more offensive player lose but Jule decided her fate and gave up in the TB.

The better player lost, no doubt.

Tsitsipas & Sakkari outed.
